Dr. Antonio Webb is a board certified and fellowship trained, San Antonio Spine Surgeon who specializes in all medical conditions related to the spine, back, and neck including degenerative, deformity, trauma, cervical/lumbar arthroplasty, and minimally invasive spine surgery. Dr. Webb attended the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA), Georgetown University medical school and spent his Orthopedic Surgery Residency at UT Health San Antonio. He completed a spine surgery fellowship at the Texas Back Institute.

A long-term resident of San Antonio, Texas, Dr. Webb welcomes patients to his clinic who struggle with spine pain and who are looking for a solution. Dr. Webb served eight years in the United States Air Force, including a deployment as a medic to north of Baghdad, Iraq in 2005, before attending college.

These past few years have been the most severe to where I was hospitalized November 2025 for 5 days because my back kept spazzing out, leaving me bed ridden. My L5-S1 disc was basically nonexistent. I left the hospital not able to walk on my own, leaving with a walker at 39 yrs old. This was my breaking point! Home Health Care discharged me after 3 visits because it was leaving me in worse condition. I searched NYS for Orthopedic Surgeons that perform a specific surgery. Injections didn’t work, PT didn’t work, tried a trial cord stimulator and was advised by Pain Management I’d have to continue injections that provided zero relief. I felt stuck and frustrated. Nobody in NYS could help, so I searched the surrounding states. No luck! I searched further down the East Coast and couldn’t find providers that accepted insurance. Until one day, something told me to search YouTube. There he was, Dr. Antonio Webb’s performing the surgery I WANTED! Lumbar Artificial Disc Replacement. Dr. Webb spoke to me through this video, his confidence, knowledge and education he provided in this short video was Exceptional! I knew he was THE SURGEON I WANTED. He accepted my case, had my surgery Sept 17, 2026 and I couldn’t be more happy. Dr. Webb gives off positive vibes and energy that makes the experience less stressful. You’re happy, excited, You know you made the RIGHT DECISION CHOOSING HIM! I traveled from NYS to San Antonio TX for a better quality of life and Dr. Webb Does Not Disappoint! He takes time looking at your entire story- does NOT scare you, very conservative, explains everything- I've seen three surgeons, ALL were not interested in the whole person, did not explain or take time to discuss. The surgery went fine and everything that Dr. Webb told me to expect was right on point. My back feels wonderful and I'm off all pain and nerve medications. Six months out and I already played a round of golf with no soreness. When I tell people that I had back surgery they don't believe me.
